Day 1 | Victoria Falls to Chobe Driving distance approx. 82 km; driving time approx. +- 1 hours
Leaving Vic Falls our destination is Chobe. Renowned for its vast herds of elephants, diverse wildlife, and spectacular scenery, Chobe National Park promises an unforgettable safari experience. Boasting remarkable biodiversity, it is no wonder that travellers from around the globe consider Chobe one of the finest safari destinations in Southern Africa. Whether you seek captivating game drives, intimate wildlife encounters, or tranquil boat cruises, this awe-inspiring park will exceed every expectation. This afternoon you can choose between a game drive in Chobe National Park or a boat safari on the river.

Day 2 | Chobe National Park OR the Okavango Delta
Up before the birds we head into Chobe National Park for a Game Drive, returning to the Lodge for a hearty Breakfast mid-morning. For those flying into the Delta you will be transferred to the airport for your flight. Those remaining at Chobe will have the day at leisure with a choice between a boat or land safari later in the day. The Okavango Explorers will spend the day exploring the Okavango Delta either by mokoro, game drive vehicle or on foot (Your choice).

Day 3 | Chobe to Elephant Sands Driving distance approx. 255 km; driving time approx. +- 3 hours
Whether you are in the Delta or Chobe you may choose to lie in or participate in one of the early morning activities on offer. After a late breakfast we collect the Delta Explorers and head south To Elephant Sands near Nata and the Makgadikgadi Pans. Elephant Sands is a bush lodge & campsite in the north-eastern part of Botswana. Elephant Sands, where elephants rule. Come and enjoy viewing the elephants at our natural waterhole right in front of the lodge. There is plenty of other wildlife around as well on our unfenced 16000 ha private conservancy. The lack of fences allows all animals to roam freely.

An early morning bushwalk this morning before returning to the Lodge for breakfast and a day of relaxing around the waterhole watching the game come in to drink.

Day 6 |Khama Rhino Sanctuary to the Waterberg Driving distance approx. 351 km; driving time approx. +- 5 hours
The Waterberg Biosphere Reserve is a UNESCO-designated area in South Africa’s Limpopo Province known for its savannah biome, rich biodiversity, and malaria-free environment. It features low mountain ranges and escarpments, serves as an important water source for the arid region, and balances nature conservation with sustainable development through projects that involve the local community.

Day 5 | Elephant Sands to Khama Rhino Sanctuary Driving distance approx. 483 km; driving time approx. +- 6 hours
The Khama Rhino Sanctuary (KRS) is a community based wildlife project, established in 1992 to assist in saving the vanishing rhinoceros, restore an area formerly teeming with wildlife to its previous natural state and provide economic benefits to the local Botswana community through tourism and the sustainable use of natural resources. Covering approximately, 8585 hectares of Kalahari Sandveld, the sanctuary provides prime habitat for white and black rhino as well as over 30 other animal species and more than 230 species of birds.

After a late breakfast we head for Johannesburg. It’s never easy to say goodbye but it is here on arrival in the City of Gold we wish you well on your journey.
